Enter your birth date to calculate your central Arcana and other key Destiny Matrix numbers. See the card, chart position, and formula for each result.

## How to use it

1. **Enter your birth date**: Enter your day, month, and four-digit birth year. No name, birth time, or birthplace is required.
2. **Generate your Arcana chart**: Select “Calculate My Arcana Numbers” to see your central Arcana, main chart points, Love Line, and Money Line.
3. **Review each Arcana number**: Select a result card or chart point to see its Arcana number, card name, and position. Open “Show calculation” to see the steps.

## Method and numbering

This calculator uses digit-sum reduction. Keep values from 1 to 22 as they are. If a total is above 22, add its digits. Repeat only if the new total is still above 22. For example, 44 becomes 4 + 4 = 8. The value 22 stays 22 and represents The Fool in this chart.

This reference uses the Destiny Matrix order: 8 = Justice, 11 = Strength, and 22 = The Fool.

1. **Calculate the three birth-date points**: The day gives the left point. If the day is above 22, add its digits. The month gives the top point. Add the four digits of the birth year to find the right point, then reduce the total if needed.
2. **Calculate the bottom point**: Add the left, top, and right points. Apply the 1–22 rule to the total. The result is the bottom point.
3. **Calculate the central Arcana**: Add the left, top, right, and bottom points. Apply the 1–22 rule. The result is the central Arcana shown first in your chart.
4. **Build the remaining chart**: The other points and lines are calculated from existing chart points. Each new total uses the same 1–22 rule. Select any result and open ‘Show calculation’ to check the exact inputs.

## Example: 17 May 1993

- **Birth-date points**: Left: 17 · Top: 5 · Right: 1 + 9 + 9 + 3 = 22
- **Bottom point**: 17 + 5 + 22 = 44 → 8
- **Central Arcana**: 17 + 5 + 22 + 8 = 52 → 7

This date produces Arcana 8 at the bottom point and Arcana 7 at the center. Both are correct because they belong to different chart positions.

After calculating your chart, open ‘Show calculation’ on any result to check its inputs and steps. The arithmetic can be verified separately from the card interpretation.

## Read numbers by position

1. **Start with your central Arcana**: Read it as the main theme at the center of your chart. Note its strengths and challenges. Ask, ‘Where have I seen this pattern in a real choice?’ If it does not fit your experience, do not force it.
2. **Compare another chart position**: Next, select an outer point or line. Read the Arcana theme in that area of the chart. A number on the Love Line relates to relationships. A number on the Money Line relates to work and resources. These positions do not predict outcomes.
3. **Compare repeated Arcana**: When the same Arcana appears more than once, compare its positions. The card theme stays the same, but the question changes with the context. Repetition does not make a prediction stronger.

In the sample chart for 17 May 1993, Arcana 7 — The Chariot appears at the center and at a lower-left ancestral point. At the center, consider how you set a direction and act on it. At the ancestral point, consider the attitudes toward action, control, or pressure that you may have learned in your family. The repeated number offers two questions. It does not prove anything about your family history.

## Questions, conditions and limits

### What is my Arcana by date of birth?

Enter your full birth date and select Calculate My Arcana Numbers. The calculator builds your Destiny Matrix and shows the Arcana number at each chart position. Start with your central Arcana, then read the surrounding points and lines for context.

### Do I need my name, birth time, or birthplace?

No. This calculator uses only your date of birth. Your name, birth time, and birthplace do not change the Arcana numbers shown on this page.

### How are my Arcana numbers calculated?

Your birth day, month, and year create the main chart points. Values above 22 are reduced by adding their digits. These points are then combined to calculate your central Arcana and other positions. Select Show calculation beside a result to check each step.

### Why do I have more than one Arcana number?

A Destiny Matrix is a chart, not a single-card result. Each position has its own Arcana number and reading context. Together, the central Arcana, outer points, Love Line, Money Line, and other positions form one chart.

### Which Arcana number should I read first?

Start with your central Arcana. It gives you a clear entry point into the chart. Then compare it with the outer points and lines to see how the themes appear in different areas.

### Why does another Arcana calculator give me a different number?

Check which system the calculator uses, which position it calls your Arcana, and how it reduces values above 22. Some tools calculate one tarot birth card. Others calculate several Destiny Matrix positions. Card numbering can also differ for Justice, Strength, and The Fool. Compare results only when the method and chart position match.

### What if the same Arcana number appears more than once?

The card theme stays the same, but each chart position gives it a different context. Compare what the number means at each position. Repetition highlights a theme to examine; it does not predict that an event will happen.

### Do my Arcana numbers change each year?

The Arcana numbers calculated from your birth date stay the same when the method stays the same. A yearly or age-based Arcana is a separate, time-based result and can change. It does not replace your central Arcana.

### Is this the same as a tarot birth-card or Life Path calculator?

No. A tarot birth-card calculator usually returns one card or a related card pair. A Life Path calculator usually returns a single digit, sometimes keeping master numbers such as 11 or 22. This calculator places several numbers from 1 to 22 in a Destiny Matrix chart.

### How accurate is an Arcana number calculator?

The arithmetic is repeatable when you use the same birth date and calculation method. The meanings are symbolic interpretations, not scientifically validated personality measures or forecasts. Arcana 13, 15, or 16 does not predict harm. Use the results for reflection, not as the sole basis for important decisions.

### Is the Arcana calculator free?

Yes. You can calculate your chart, view the calculation steps, and explore the 1–22 Arcana reference without an account. A separate full report is optional.
